Parent Communications Specialist

The Parent Communications Specialist is responsible for developing content and delivering mass communications to parents, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with approved engagement concepts, brand direction, and learning experience principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Storytelling

Initiate communication ideas for themes and storytelling angles.
Plan monthly parent communications, regarding: timeline, channels, and content direction.

Messaging Development: develop messaging for Apollo announcement, Brand campaigns, student engagement activities,... and requests from learning experience and/or operations teams
Communication Delivery:

Adapt messages for different parent segments and learner journey stages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and coherence across all touchpoints.
Manage the end- to- end delivery of parent communications, including timelines and schedules, channel selection and usage, and message sequencing across touchpoints

Performance Tracking & Improvement

Support evaluation activities and contribute insights for continuous improvement.
Track delivery performance and effectiveness of parent communications.
Identify opportunities to enhance communication clarity, operational efficiency and engagement impact.

Education & Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Education, Business, or related fields.
+ 1–3 years of experience in: Communications/Content writing, or Customer consultation in education

Planning & Execution: strong organisational and timeline management skills; detail- oriented in content accuracy and message consistency.

Skills: strong writing skills; ability to simplify complex information into clear, parent- friendly messages; good storytelling sense for campaigns, announcements, and engagement content.

Understanding of parent demands and behaviour, student journey is a big plus
