Pastry Chef

- Is in charge of all dessert menus and reports directly to the Head Pastry Chef.
(Menus inclusive of Pastry boutique, a refined lounge, events and weddings, luxury cakes, a la carte restaurants, room amenities, catering, a creative new menu of chocolates , luxury brand events and business partnerships.)
- Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions.
- Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations.
- Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced.
- Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
- Responsible for guiding, training and developing the next generation of talent.
- Essential Functions:
Leading the latest trends in culinary arts.
Artistically creating showpieces or centerpieces.
Planning and execution of the dessert and baked goods menu.
Ordering of supplies and equipment.
Coordination with the Executive Chef on complementary flavors.
Creation of signature desserts.
Development of new designs and recipes.
Assigning priorities to guest requests.
Experimentation with new flavors.
Training and mentoring colleagues to ensure growth and future succession, leading by example.

• Hard working, able to work under immense pressure and in a very fast paced working environment.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Good in English language.
• At least 2 years experience as the relevant position at 5 star international hotel.
• Able to enroll and complete projects on his/her own.
• Dynamic, innovative and self- motivated.
• Good health, mature and pleasant personality and very neat appearance.
