Pattern Developer

Pattern cutting to design specifications and developing samples from initial concept stage to base size approval.
Fitting internally and externally with customers
Measurement & inspection of seals.
Factory and Client liaison
Organising and processing sample garments for fitting and sealing.
Creating product specifications and measurement charts.
Liaising with in- house technical team.
Compiling detailed, annotated fit comments and workable suggestions for progressing garments through fit process.
Working closely with Design team.
Checking quality of samples/materials from concept samples through to finished production
Working closely with sample machinist to develop workable construction methods.
Creating product specifications and measurement charts.
Ensuring that a complete set of patterns, with grade applied, is completed pre sign off to send on to factories.

Able to work closely with the Designers & Technical Department to commercial excellence

- Working under pressure.
- Spoken & written English or Chinese.
- Knowledge of digital pattern making preferably on PAD system but Gerber knowledge is helpful
- University graduated
- A strong understanding of body shaping and the fundamentals of fit
- Strong knowledge of garment specifications, measurement charts, grading increments and sewing construction.
- Textile Knowledge.
- Knowledge of garment construction.

Other requirements:
Professional experience:

At least 7- 10 years’ experience to hold the similar position at Lingerie; Swim wear, Sportswear or Sleepwear enterprise with same organisational size.
