Payment Accountant

Job Purpose
(i) Responsible for checking and completing accounting document, Recording and reconciling transactions in Bank ledger, Cash ledger, Accounts Payable, and payment on time and follow the regulation
(iii) Maintain compliance with the relevant regulatory, statutory and other legislative requirements, including tax legislations.
(ii) Support the monthly, quarterly and year- end account closing process
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
Record and reconcile transactions in Bank ledger, Cash ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Investment accounts and General Ledger
Support External Auditor in auditing activities.
Financial period closing
Execute accounting period closing activities [for specific areas given by the line- manager(s)]
Support preparing regulatory financial reports.
Cash and bank transfers Prepare bank transactions, manage cash- in, compliant with internal guidelines and relevant regulatory, statutory and other legislative requirements.
Project involvement
Actively involve in Projects: SOP (Standard Operation Process), automated Procure to Pay (P2P), SAP System maintenance and enhancement... as planned and assigned.
Miscellaneous
Support the development and maintenance of the MBAL’s internal control framework, process and procedures manual.
Other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant/ Deputy Director of Finance and Investment Domain, in charge of accounting or (co) line- manager(s)

- Knowledge on VAS (Vietnam Accounting Standards and Regimes)
- Strong MS Excel knowledge
- Experience with tax accounting
- At least 1 year of experience in Accounting – preferably Insurance sector and SAP system
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business, Economics
- English communication: Full professional proficiency
