With the fruitful development of Gear Games, we are looking for a Payroll Accountant to work

Key Responsibilities:
● Payroll Processing:
- Process periodic payrolls, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other
deductions;
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires,
terminations, and changes to pay rates;
- Ensure accurate and timely remittance of payroll taxes, workers compensation, and
ther government filings;
- Stay updated with local payroll tax requirements; ensuring compliance.
● Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile payroll accounts monthly and ensure all payroll transactions are accurately
recorded;
- Resolve any discrepancies concerning payroll records.
● Reporting:
- Assist in financial audits related to payroll and respond to audit findings.
- Prepare various payroll- related reports as required by management, finance, or HR;
Other tasks:
● Work closely with the HR team to ensure accurate benefits deductions and liaise with
benefits providers as needed;
● Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or discrepancies in a timely and
professional manner;
● Perform other duties assigned by the Chief of Accountant.
● Support foreigners to prepare quarterly and annual PIT finalization;
Job Requirements
● Shows initiative and has a strong work ethic;
● Understanding of local payroll tax regulations;
● Previous experience in a payroll or accounting function;
● Good in English communication;
● Be able to learn new things as a fast learner;
● Graduated university in Accounting/Auditing/Finance or related fields;
● Good skills in MS Office, especially Google sheet;
● Trustworthy, careful and organized;
● Knowledge of payroll procedures and best practices;
● Ability to work in teams as well as independently;
● Ability to work under pressure.
