Payroll Officer

The Payroll Agent&039;s role is to deliver payroll service to NashTech clients following to client’s SLA as well as the company’s standards and drive the target achievement.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Administer employee benefits related to payroll, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions;
Process bi- weekly or monthly payroll accurately and on time. Ensure all relevant data is accounted for, such as hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and deductions;
Enter and maintain accurate employee data, including timekeeping, benefits, and deductions, into the payroll system;
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll- related issues;
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Stay informed about changes in legislation that may impact payroll processes;
Verify the accuracy of payroll calculations, tax withholdings, and other deductions. Address any discrepancies or errors promptly;
Maintain accurate and organized payroll records. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive payroll information;
Identify opportunities for process improvement in payroll procedures. Collaborate with the payroll lead/manager to implement changes.

Computer literacy;
University or college graduate;
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
A team player, able to work under pressure, plan and organize well;
Strong attention to detail with a quality mindset;
Strong communication in English;
Efficiently acclimate to a new system and process;
