The People Engagement and Internal Communications Specialist role is responsible for creating and implementing internal/employee and recruiting communications content and contributing to programs that actively engage internal audiences across entire the organization.
This role works with the company management and internal teams (including but not limited to People and Culture, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) to communicate new information and promote the company’s special strengths and values.
The Specialist translates business strategies into key messages, develops appropriate internal communications initiatives in support of those strategies, and executes and drives programs that create excitement, drive engagement, align teams and shape culture.
Job Summary
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage content for the company intranet, ensuring that it is up- to- date, engaging, and informative
Implement metrics reports to measure the effectiveness of internal communication channels and measure internal communications with the goal of continuously improving internal communications strategy to reach and engage employees
Help create a best- in- class internal communications function across the company that fuels employee engagement, influences connectivity and culture, positively impacts all offices and helps our remote team members feel connected
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of internal employee events as needed and appropriate
Other reasonable duties as requested from time to time
Work with appropriate company personnel to create and maintain content for employee communication channels, and partner with the broader Marketing and IT teams to explore/recommend new channels or technologies where possible
Assist in writing and editing impactful and engaging content that effectively describes and promotes DEI, Talent Acquisition, LD&P, Talents Retention, and other programs and initiatives in support of company goals and culture
Utilize internal tools as needed to enhance internal communication effectiveness, ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, imagery, and identity, while also creating communication materials through various tactics such as written content, presentations, MS Teams, and other platforms to convey key messages
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders on understanding the voice of employees and gathering feedback to identify actionable employee engagement opportunities while aligning with the company&039;s strategic objectives
REQUIREMENTS
• English level (CEFR) B2 plus or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, international relations, English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively through active listening and honest, transparent conversations in small and large groups.
• Recognize situations that require initiative and move forward proactively; ask questions, provide solutions, and look to improve.
• 3+ years of relevant communications experience; work experience in a consulting, law, or other professional services company is strongly preferred.
• Possess outstanding oral and written communications skills including superior writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills.
• Demonstrate prior experience in writing and editing marketing content; experience with web and digital content preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Demonstrate prior experience in project management and executing events.
• Experience managing branded social media accounts and proficiency with Google Analytics and HTML- based content management systems.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict- resolution skills
