The role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Performance Lead to oversee the development and execution of media strategies for Soctrip.com. This role is critical in driving user acquisition and enhancing brand presence through effective media planning and ad budget management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the travel or e- commerce industry, with a minimum of 2 years of experience, and will possess established relationships with key publishers such as Google, TikTok, and Facebook.
Key responsibilities
Media Strategy Development:
- Identify target audiences and optimize media channels to reach and engage potential users effectively.
- Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies to drive user acquisition, app downloads, and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align media strategies with overall brand goals and messaging.
Budget Management:
- Adjust budget allocations based on performance data and changing business needs.
- Manage and allocate the media budget across various channels, ensuring optimal use of resources to maximize ROI.
- Monitor spending to stay within budget while achieving performance goals.
Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Coordinate with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives that drive engagement and conversions.
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
- Utilize programmatic buying and other advanced targeting techniques to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Set clear performance goals and KPIs for the team, regularly reviewing progress and providing feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and results- driven team environment, encouraging innovation and data- driven decision- making.
- Lead and manage a team of media buyers and performance marketers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
Publisher Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key publishers and media partners, including Google, Facebook, TikTok, and others.
- Negotiate media buying agreements and secure advantageous terms to maximize value and reach.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and opportunities with media partners to leverage new advertising solutions.
Analytics and Reporting
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor key metrics such as CPA, CPC, CTR, and conversion rates to assess campaign effectiveness.
- Use analytics tools to track, analyse, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
User Acquisition and App Marketing:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive app installs and user acquisition through targeted media campaigns.
- Analyse user acquisition funnels to identify bottlenecks and improve conversion rates.
- Optimize app store presence and use app- specific advertising formats to increase downloads and user engagement.
Brand Building and Awareness:
- Work with the brand team to develop and execute media strategies that enhance brand recognition and positioning.
- Use a mix of performance marketing and brand- building tactics to create a balanced approach that drives both short- term results and long- term brand equity.
- Leverage content marketing, influencer partnerships, and PR opportunities to boost brand visibility.
