Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Bakery Commis to join our team. In this role, you will support the Bakery Chef in the daily production of French- style breads, viennoiseries, and pastries. You will also assist with maintaining quality standards, ensuring proper cleanliness, and helping with the smooth functioning of the kitchen during the night shift. The Bakery Commis will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting in the baking process, and ensuring the bakery’s products meet high- quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
1 Assisting in Baking Production:
Assist with inventory management, ensuring ingredients are fresh and prepared in accordance with bakery needs.
Ensure proper mixing, shaping, and baking techniques to support the creation of consistent, high- quality products.
Help prepare ingredients and assist in baking a variety of French bakery items such as breads, pastries, and viennoiseries.
2 Quality Control Support:
Monitor the quality of baked goods throughout the process and communicate any discrepancies or potential issues to the Bakery Chef.
Support the Bakery Chef in maintaining the quality of products, ensuring they meet established standards.
3 Kitchen Support
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery, ensuring all tools, utensils, and workstations are sanitized and organized.
Assist in the preparation of raw materials, including measuring and portioning ingredients for various baked goods.
Follow hygiene and safety regulations at all times to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
4 Commis Supervision
Learn and apply bakery techniques as directed by the Bakery Chef to grow in the position and contribute to the bakery&039;s success.
Work closely with the Bakery Chef and Commis 1 to follow established procedures and improve your skills in various aspects of bakery production.
5 Supporting Team Operations
Maintain good communication with team members and other departments to ensure efficiency in operations.
Participate in team activities to ensure smooth daily operations, including helping to manage work schedules and coordinate with other staff.
Working Hours
Hours: Working hours comply with Vietnamese labor laws, and any overtime will be compensated according to these regulations.
Shift: This position requires night- shift work, starting from approximately 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM to ensure the freshness of bakery items.
