Pilot Plant Supervisor

Collect, organize, document and interpret data from pilot plant runs.
Ensure the Pilot Plant operations complies with safety standards defined by ofi and government regulations.
Lead and coach the pilot plant operators to improve their technical expertise, promote a continues improvement culture and create a positive working environment/teamwork.
Develop, maintain, and improve metrics to ensure Pilot Plant team and equipments contribute effectively.
Drive continuous Improvement in efficiency, quality, and competency.
Order and maintain inventory of product ingredients, packaging materials, safety equipments, etc.
Ensure trials are correctly designed to obtain accurate results that support the product development process.
Lead the pilot plant operations by maintaining an optimized trial management process to maximize the resources usage and improve flexibility & capabilities of the pilot plant.
Leading and performing the transfer of processes from small scale development units to the pilot plant and from pilot plant to commercial manufacturing sites.
Prepare pilot plants for operation, start plants up, control plants at specified conditions, shut down plants, and trouble shoot plant on equipment breakdowns and anticipate issues and communicate with the other functional teams to reduce potential failures.

Expertise in computer abilities (MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, AUTOCAD etc.)
Have good command of English both speaking and writing.
Good knowledge of unit operation & manufacturing process.
Qualification: • Bachelor’s or master’s degrees in food science, Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering/technology or related field
Have good communication, leadership, creativity, and analytical skills.
Experience: At least 5 years of shop floor experience in Food & Beverages industry
