Planning Manager ( fabrics/ textile/ garment )

Our Client is a professional Swiss/German invested manufacturer of high quality decorative knitted polyester fabrics and ready-mades, as well as technical textiles. The company is part of a group of mid sized textile companies located in Germany, the Czech Republic, France and Vietnam.

At this moment the Company is looking for AN EXPERIENCED PLANNING MANAGER.

CONTEXT

1. Report directly to Vice Director and General Director.


2. Senior Planning Manager;


3. Decotex office and factories are located in Tan Binh Industrial Park, Tan Phu District, HCMC and Decotex Long An branch in Tan Duc Industrial Park, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province.


4. Business trips abroad (Thailand, Germany, China ...) may be requested from time to time.

JOB CONTENT

Main responsibilities:

1. Control/ Manage Planning Dept in assigning the works for each Planning staffs.


2. Prepares contracts for purchases, sub-contractors for fabric D&F, printing, all special processing, sub-contractors for knitting, sub-contractors cut and sew manufacture.


3. Follow up the status of all orders.


4. Buy material for knitting production;


5. Inform the delivery schedule of yarn to Knitting and Inventory


6. Manage greige to dyeing and finishing;


7. Prepare weekly fabric schedule OR have weekly fabric schedule prepared;


8. Check and send weekly yarn status report: If yarn order required, advise on report and review with director.


9. Prepare report of major customers’ designs and orders, production and shipment schedules, including 4 weeks schedule, updated by Friday every week;


10. Supervise and follow up on the plastic tubes report! Monthly by the 5th of the following month


11. Follow up on all orders from all customers and be able to supply all needed information – daily;


12. Provide all order tracking reports for any order – Mondays every week.


13. Provide all order closing report minimum 3 days after the order has been shipped.


14. Have a weekly meeting with knitting to discuss the knitting schedule and upcoming orders, any issues with machines etc and any other issues (if any). Monday every week.


15. Have a weekly meeting with C&S to discuss any issues related to the fabric schedule, sundries deliveries etc.


16. Other jobs as required by the Management of Company.

9. University graduate (eg.: textile related university, industrial management, …) preferred (not a must in case sufficient experience);


10. Textile knowledge/ background preferred;


11. Manufacturing experience is a must;


12. Experience as a Senior Planning Manager for at least 3-4 years (preferable in the textile/garment industry);


13. Note: Decotex is not a large, but mid sized company but production is very complex.


14. Computer skills required (MS Office: Word, Excel).

OTHERS

1. Salary: Competitive.


2. Two-month probation. Sign one-year labor contract and pay enough insurance as Laws??.
