Planning Supervisor - Fashion Retail

Develop and maintain Weekly Reports published to Senior Management,
Working closely with our Buyers and suppliers,
Conduct ad- hoc analysis based on Sales Performance within categories,
Perform SKU level inventory analysis (sales forecast and inventory accuracy),
Supply product insights and assortment direction to the Buying team based on product performance, market trend and consumer behaviour,
Build and use inventory reports to proactively identify potential stock- out issues,
Collaborate with Buying and Marketing Team to drive promotions and marketing campaigns,
Be an Excel expert and use it to build and update reporting,
Consult with other departments on process improvement, system design, and projects as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
Competencies:

Experience with cross functional teams such as merchandising, marketing, warehousing, and finance
Experience with Excel Power Pivot or other BI tools is a plus
1- 3 years’ experience in a merchandise planning role for apparel and footwear
Excel; experience with complex equations, Macros, Pivot Tables/Charts, Excel Power Query and VBA
Ability to interact and work collaboratively cross- functionally and within different verticals
You understand the value of being proactive and solution- oriented
Ability to handle a dynamic work environment with competing priorities
Knowledge of the e- commerce and/or retail space
Knowledge of demand, supply, and merchandise planning fundamentals
Ability to sort through large sources of information, find patterns and abnormalities
Ability to work in a fast- paced start- up environment
Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines
Drive for process improvement & ability to perform root cause analysis
A natural and analytical problem solver
Strong computer skills are needed; including ability in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
