Plant Manager

The Plant Manager / Factory General Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long- term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Managers of people from multiple families within the function. Owns/influences budgets and operating plans. The role is guided by operating policy. Works with cross functional teams. The role has autonomy within the operational area or a segment within a larger business unit. The role may have a major impact on a small business unit or Family within a Function or P&L. High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes.
• Manage the acquisition and allocation of business resources in support of business objectives

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, prefer in engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing broad- scoped business relationships involving complex interactions or new partners
• Significant experience leading in either an operations or functional capacity in an organization with a global supply chain

• Masters degree in relevant field/discipline
• 7- 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in an organization with a global supply chain
