Adecco&039;s client s a cutting- edge electronics manufacturer poised to establish a new manufacturing plant. As we embark on this exciting new venture, we are seeking an experienced and forward- thinking Plant Manager to lead the establishment and operation of our new facility.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a strategic and results- driven Plant Manager to spearhead the setup and management of our new electronics manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in plant management, with expertise in facility setup, production planning, quality control, and team leadership. The Plant Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful launch and ongoing operations of the new plant, driving operational excellence, efficiency, and growth.
Implement robust quality control measures and processes to ensure the highest standards of product quality, reliability, and safety.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and supply chain, to coordinate activities and ensure seamless integration of plant operations.
Develop and implement plant policies, procedures, and operational guidelines in alignment with company objectives and industry best practices.
Lead the setup and commissioning of the new manufacturing plant, overseeing facility layout, equipment installation, and process optimization to ensure operational readiness.
Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management, highlighting plant performance, achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
Establish production goals, targets, and KPIs for the new plant, and develop strategies to achieve and exceed performance metrics.
Develop and monitor budgets, production schedules, and resource allocation plans to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and maximize operational efficiency.
Build and lead a high- performing team of production personnel, providing coaching, training, and development to ensure a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to safety, environmental protection, and quality management.
Experience Requirements
Ability to thrive in a fast- paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation and excellence.
Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing management, with a proven track record of success in establishing and managing manufacturing plants.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent problem- solving and decision- making abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on results.
Experience in project management, facility setup, and commissioning of new manufacturing plants is highly desirable.
Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and delivering measurable results.
Education requirements
Bachelor&039;s degree in engineering, manufacturing management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
