Platform QE Functional

Assist with debugging and verification of defects in your own and others&039; work.
Work closely with QA automation infra team, guiding and resolving technical issues of the product as needed.
Focus on testing new platforms for ruggedized mobile edge, with an emphasis on LTE and WiFi drivers.
Make hands- on changes in the SASE/SDWAN automation framework daily using Python scripting for customer representative system testbeds.
Utilize Jira and Confluence for finding bugs in software code and writing know- how documentation.
Drive QE test and automation strategy across test pillars for VMware SASE’s control and dataplane features and services.
Demonstrate competency with VMware SASE’s deployment, high- level design, and QE testing and automation environment.
Collaborate closely with Development Engineering, Support, and Tech Ops to provide day- to- day operations for the SASE portfolio.
Perform test automation using a custom framework (based on Python language).

Strong background in networking.
6- 10 years experience in related Platform QE Functional position
Expertise in Network Platform / LTE & WiFi drivers testing.
Proficiency in Python- based automation.
Experience in QE functional testing on U/E side and L3/L4 protocols testing.
