* Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training or certification in pool operation/maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, or a related field highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3- 5 years of specialized experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of commercial swimming pools and spas, preferably within a hospitality setting.
* Technical Skills:
In- depth knowledge of pool filtration systems, hydraulics, and water circulation.
Expertise in pool chemistry, water testing, and chemical dosing.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various pool equipment (pumps, motors, heaters, automation systems, etc.).
Basic understanding of electrical systems related to pool equipment.
Familiarity with plumbing and PVC piping.
Knowledge of Regulations: Comprehensive understanding of public health codes and safety regulations applicable to swimming pools and spas.
Problem- Solving: Strong analytical and problem- solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure water quality, safety, and equipment integrity.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and vendors.
Work Ethic: Reliable, self- motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on- call shifts as needed.
* Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated pool control systems
Knowledge of sustainable practices in pool operations (e.g., energy- efficient pumps, alternative sanitization methods).
Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
