Pool Maintenance & Cleaning:
- Maintain pool deck areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and free of debris or hazards.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the resort’s two main pools and other private pools inside villas, including skimming debris, brushing pool walls, and vacuuming pool floors.
- Clean and maintain poolside furniture, ensuring it is in good condition for guest use.
Water Quality Monitoring:
- Monitor and maintain water circulation systems, ensuring proper filtration and pump operations.
- Ensure water quality meets health and safety standards by performing routine tests and documenting results.
- Test and balance pool water regularly, adjusting chemical levels as needed (e.g., chlorine, pH levels, alkalinity).
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any pool equipment failures or malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular checks and cleaning of pool filtration and circulation systems.
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to local health and safety regulations regarding pool operation and maintenance.
- Ensure all pool signage and safety equipment (e.g., life rings, pool ladders) are in place and in good working condition.
- Respond promptly to any safety concerns, such as potential hazards around the pool area.
- Maintain records of water quality, pool chemical levels, and equipment inspections to comply with safety regulations.
Guest Interaction & Communication:
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the pool areas, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Report any concerns regarding guest use, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Communicate with resort management about pool conditions, maintenance schedules, and any issues that may arise.
Preventative Maintenance:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on pool equipment and systems to ensure long- term functionality and avoid costly repairs.
- Ensure the pools are ready for use each morning and that any maintenance or cleaning is done during non- peak hours, minimizing disruption to guests.
Special Event Support:
- Ensure the pools are maintained and cleaned according to the event schedule.
- Assist with pool preparations for resort events, such as poolside parties, gatherings, or guest activities.
