Power BI Developer (Data Analyst, Database, SQL)

Responsibilities:

Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, including improving load times and reducing resource consumption.
Documentation: Document processes, models, and dashboards to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Maintain and Troubleshoot Reports: Monitor and maintain existing reports, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed.
Design and Develop Power BI Reports and Dashboards: Create interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Data Consolidation: Set up reporting environments by consolidating data from various sources into centralized data lakes, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Integration with Data Warehouses: Work with cloud- based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake to integrate, retrieve, and manage data effectively.
Data Modeling: Develop and optimize data models within Power BI to support efficient querying and data retrieval.

Requirements:

Proficient in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience in setting up and managing data lakes and consolidating data from multiple sources.
Excellent English language skills (written and verbal communication)
Familiarity with cloud- based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake is a plus.
3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.
Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field

Additional attribute (Preferred not required):

Working experience in ERP type systems, Accounting or Retail POS systems etc.
Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
