PRICING SENIOR SUPERVISOR OR ASSISTANT MANAGER (TP TRADE)

Creating a good relationship with shipping lines, flexibly handling when problems arise such as fixing bills...
Pro- actively provide ideas/ solution to develop the process/ performance of the team
Coordinate with CS and Booking to ensure space
Regularly proactively update information about prices and seats from shipping lines and make reports for direct managers to control and update ships/space/price
Regularly update information related to shipment prices for CS, SALE, OPERATION, INVOICING; notify OPERATION urgently in case of correct price
Work closely with pricing team for market situation, fast reaction for market change and provide solution when requires
Manage the team of 1+ including training, coaching, and encourage team member for work efficiently
Negotiate rate/space with shipping lines and match with customer needs
Support customer service in customer query resolution and exception handling
Receive booking request from CS/ Sale via email/ Skype/ paper file and make quotation
Send accurate information to Operation department to make correct and timely documents for the shipment, avoiding delay or incorrect information leading to additional costs
Complete the assigned job when required by direct management and the Board of Directors
Maintain and build relationships with shipping lines and professional image with customers, cooperate & support other departments
Update the price list on the system
Check mail and reply to customer emails, support customers to answer questions, update information and solve price problems related to shipments
Review/ keep update on all Policies/ SOPs and instruct clearly to the team.Make sure Policies/ SOPs will be followed under strict discipline
Control team performance to make sure no penalty/ loss/ complaint on any shipment
Report to manager or upper level when required
Make a contract, fully calculate the costs

Educational Background:

Bachelor&039;s degree in foreign trade, international economics, maritime transport, supply chain, logistics or related fields.

Experience:

Having at least 5 years in of forwarding logistics companies and 02 years working experience in the same position.
Comprehensive knowledge of Sea Freight and Pricing.
Experienced in dealing/ working with shipping lines, especially TP trade.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).

Skills and Abilities:

Problem solving skills.
Effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
Negotiation skills.
Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, power point etc.)
