• Proficient in spoken and written in both English. Additional language skills in a second language eg, Chinese/Vietnamese/Korean shall have additional advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Meeting with contractors to discuss construction details such as materials to be used and scheduling issues
• Identifying ways to improve the design of a structure based on environmental factors such as light and wind exposure
• Developing plans for new construction projects, remodeling existing structures, or improving the functionality of existing space
• Coordinating with clients to determine design requirements, including reviewing sketches and models with the client
• Communicating with contractors about construction progress and potential problems that may arise during the building process
• Reviewing architectural plans for compliance with local building codes and zoning regulations
• Managing a team of architects and designers, providing them with direction on projects
• Providing leadership to the design team, collaborating with other members of the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Creating diagrams, renderings, and other visual representations of architectural designs
For those with airport job experience, job scope includes:
- Create project proposals that include timelines and an estimated cost for projects.
- Manage project teams and collaborate with other construction professionals.
- Develop and pitch project proposals and adjust designs and plans according to client needs and requests.
- Prepare drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents, and conduct research, compiling reports on feasibility studies and environmental impacts.
- meet with clients to assess their needs and requirements and present design projects from concept to development to completion.
- Design to comply with safety standards and local planning regulations and determine and adhere to budget timelines.
- Responsible for public safety while they oversee the project when a building is completed, architects remain involved as they evolve to help incorporate new surroundings and ideas. Architects need a degree in architecture or related fields, and previous experience as an architect is often preferred.
