Principal Urban Planner (Deputy Manager) CPG Vietnam Co., Ltd.

*General Description:
Reporting and working closely with the manager in charge of CPG Vietnam offices. The role is to manage a team of Urban Planners/ Designers who will involve in the design phase of several large scale urban projects that range across all of the below:
• Urban environments- towns and cities
• Hospitality environment – resorts and recreational areas
• Spatial- parks, open landscapes
*Specific Position Responsibilities:
To manage a team of Urban Planners/ Designers who are responsible of their duties as below:
• Strategic understanding of global design trends and issues.
• Be able to adapt and be flexible in the working environment
• Work with the wider planning team to ensure policies and guidance are followed.
• Participate and contribute to the development of design concept through implementation into subsequent production and implementation stages.
• Assist in creating presentation materials for all phases of projects, including graphics, 3D modeling, renderings, technical details to meet the desirable goals and meet client expectations.
• Communicate closely with the planning leadership to implement the team vision while working independently on a day- to- day basis.
• Work under your own initiative and direction, as part of MP team and the whole multi- skilled organization including: architects, infrastructural planning, local consultants, local government, and developers, etc.
• Assist in project coordination of large- scale multi- faceted projects as required, collaborating with numerous teams in multiple locations
• Have skill in rendering is a plus but not compulsory
• Both internal and external communication and correspondence.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines within the Viet Nam and oversea office studios when needed.
• May involve some national travels

Qualification:
• Masters of Urban Planning / Urban Design or equivalent is preferred
• Bachelor of Urban Design / Urban Planning
Technical Competencies
• 3D modelling & Visualization
• Good at Lumion or 3DMax, and Arc GIS
• Experience in local approval processes and requirements
• Excellent proficiency in at REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketch UP, MS Office. Strong graphic presentation skills, proficient in Adobe Suite.
• Experience in international projects

• Ability to perform in a multi- discipline team environment
• Strong graphic (hand/computer) presentation skills
• Strong soft skills and organization skills, including effective verbal and written communication skills both Vietnamese and English.
• Strong creative skills to create engaging presentation materials through storytelling.
• Up- to- date understanding of global urban design trends and issues
English: Good written and spoken English is compulsory

- Working experience: Minimum 15 years of experience.
