Process Engineer

+ The Process Engineer will be responsible for:
• Development project.
• Process calculation.
• Process optimization.
• Site survey.
+ Perform optimization projects as identified by R&D Lead
+ Perform plant trial or pilot-scale trial for development projects according to lab scale trial
+ Operational support on process troubleshooting
+ Study mass and energy balance of the process and submit for optimization projects
+ Liaising with Marketing on customer’s request.
+ Commissioning and integrity testing of installed development projects

Qualification:
- Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, excellent understanding of process flow and hydrometer equipment.
- Familiar with PFD, P&IDs and SOP, site procedures
Experienced:
- Experience in working in technical development, commissioning/ designing, or in heavy metal processing is appreciated.
- Experienced in performing mass/energy balance
- 1-2 years of experience in chemical engineering firm or chemical manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Experience in pilot scale or plant trial, or working with chemical processes (hydrometallurgy) is an advantage
Skills:
- Independent and self-initiator, capable of working with minimal supervision
- Strong reporting and computer skills, fluent in MS package
- Fluent in English
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and time management
- Team work/team player
- Attention to detail, Responsible.

- Problem analysis
