Position Summary:
The Procurement Manager is a strategic role responsible for overseeing the club’s procurement activities, with a particular emphasis on the importation of gaming equipment, navigating the gaming license process, and managing the supply chain efficiently. This position requires a blend of industry- specific knowledge, strategic planning, and negotiation skills to ensure the cost- effective and compliant acquisition of gaming equipment and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement within the gaming or hospitality industry, a deep understanding of international trade and licensing regulations, and a proven track record in supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements, including monitoring market trends and supplier performance to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that include the importation of gaming equipment and adherence to gaming license requirements, while optimizing the overall supply chain.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with international and local suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors of gaming equipment, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring quality standards.
Oversee the procurement team, setting objectives, and providing guidance and training to enhance skills in procurement, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with the finance, legal, and operations departments to ensure a cohesive approach to procurement, licensing, and supply chain management.
Manage the end- to- end process of importing gaming equipment, including supplier selection, negotiation, logistics, and customs clearance, ensuring compliance with international and local regulations.
Prepare and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost- effective spending and alignment with the club’s financial objectives.
Work closely with legal and regulatory advisors to understand and navigate the gaming license process, ensuring all procurement activities support compliance with gaming laws and regulations.
