Main Purpose:
Build and execute sourcing development strategy, analyze markets and identify cost saving opportunities and build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stake holders across South East Asia (SEA) markets in assigned categories to deliver best competitive cost.
Accountabilities :
TEAM MANAGEMENT:
Lead the team requires a mix of delegation and be one of key decision maker for critical cases and negotiation with suppliers.
Manage staff planning, training and performance evaluation.
SOURCING COMPETENCY:
Perform cost, market analysis, benchmarking, and competitive study to identify best business solutions and continuous year on year savings.
Identify the strategic suppliers, laisse between internal stakeholders and the supplier to ensure all key value requirements are met in terms of specification, service, delivery and pricing requirements.
SUPPLIER
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
Manage existing business portfolio, establish good communication channels with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Lead/influence/connect through procurement network to share, support, and advise other affiliates for reapplications.
EXCELLENT EXECUTION:
Other jobs assigned by Line Manager.
If required, evaluate current work process/approaches and develop more efficient work process in assigned area including deploy to key stakeholders and suppliers.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver better services and total costs to win in markets.
Achieve cost reduction and increase services and efficiency targets year on year.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Good inter- personal and analytical skills
Good communication skills (verbal & written)
High level of integrity, leadership and drive for change.
Good priority- setting and follow- through.
Having 8 years working experience in Production / FMCG
Bachelor&039;s degree in Business Administration or equivalent degree
Strong in Procurement related skills: commercial, negotiation, contracting, supplier relationship management, project management.
