Procurement Officer

Responsible to manage and oversees procurement activities from sourcing to negotiating to reviewing PO to vendors
Source and Review supplier’s quotation / terms and conditions, negotiate contractions and monitor the quality of service provided
Perform supplier re- evaluation periodically and ensure all required information, documentation; such as ISO Certificate, mill certificate are provided by suppliers
Receive purchase requisitions for purchased items and manages approval process​
Any other ad- hoc task assigned from time to time
Lead a team of purchasers
Perform regular benchmarks, sourcing activities to ensure a continuous cost control
Maintain and update approved supplier list
Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with local / overseas suppliers
Monitor and renew running contracts
Knowledgeable in handling Shipping documents, incoming shipment clearance will a plus
Monitor in- house inventory (Consumables) and sufficiently replenished to meet outlets&039; demands
Ensure all procurement processes are performed in accordance to company’s policies and procedures

Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in Marine & Offshore industry
Able to work Overtime
Proficient in Microsoft office Applications
Able to work independently under minimal supervision, meticulous and organize.
Proficient in English
