As a Product Design Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of this mission, leading a talented team to create intuitive, elegant, and impactful designs that enhance the MoMo experience.
What you will do
Your Role and Responsibilities
Lead and Inspire:
As the Product Design Lead, you will manage and mentor a team of 4 to 6 designers, driving them to excel in their craft and deliver top- tier design solutions. You’ll foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
Strategic Design Leadership:
You’ll collaborate closely with cross- functional teams, including product managers, engineers, to define and execute the design vision. Your leadership will ensure that our products are not only visually appealing but also functional, user- centric, and aligned with MoMo’s strategic goals.
Design System Steward:
You will maintain and evolve MoMo’s design system, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms. Your work will help scale our design processes and enable rapid iteration while maintaining high standards of quality.
Data- Driven Design:
Your approach to design will be informed by data and user insights. You’ll use research, analytics, and feedback to drive decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
Product Roadmap Contribution:
Partnering with the product team, you will play a key role in defining the product roadmap. You’ll prioritize design initiatives that align with business objectives and user needs, ensuring that MoMo continues to innovate and lead in the digital wallet space.
Champion for Users:
You’ll be an advocate for our users, ensuring that their needs and pain points are addressed throughout the design process. Your designs will reflect a deep understanding of our diverse user base and deliver exceptional experiences.
What you will need
What We’re Looking For
Experienced Design Professional:
You bring at least 3 years of experience in digital product design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in UI/UX design. You’ve spent at least 1 year in a leadership or equivalent role, managing and guiding design teams.
UI/UX Expertise:
Your skill set spans both user interface and user experience design. You have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of how to create designs that are both functional and beautiful.
Effective Communicator:
You excel in communicating complex ideas clearly and persuasively. You’re comfortable interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, from users to engineers, ensuring everyone is aligned on the design vision.
Proactive Leader:
You thrive in a fast- paced, dynamic environment. You’re a self- starter who takes initiative and drives projects forward, tackling challenges head- on.
Passionate About Fintech:
You have a genuine interest in the fintech sector, particularly in how digital wallets can transform the way people manage their finances. Your enthusiasm for the industry will drive your desire to create world- class products.
