We're looking for an experienced product designer to work with our cross-functional team, passionate about empathetic design, to delight users beyond expectation.
Our users already love our app (some have been using it 8 hours a day for the last 20 years!). You'll be working with a team of experienced developers at the top of their game, ready to turn your designs into reality.
About Us
In 2004, MenuWise (called MyRecipes back then) rocked the food service industry with an app which enabled users to do things they previously could only dream of. We gave New Zealand's professional chefs the power to cost any recipe in just minutes, as well as know the nutrition - something which was prone to error, was difficult, and used to take a long time.
While we made headlines, and were in fact SAAS pioneers, we didn't think much of this. For us, it was just the beginning of a mission which had only just begun.
Fast forward 20 years, (gee! where did that go?!) with the support of our users who love our app, we're on a new mission to take this to the world using cutting edge tech to do things even smarter, easier and faster.
Who we are
Our current team of 11 are based in Vietnam and the Philippines and are all incredibly passionate about what we do. We're very excited about what we are building and cant wait to release our new version. We follow agile methodology and love working together as a team.
Our team values and team culture revolve around:
- Simplification over complication. Removing and decrypting jargon.
- Efficiency and smart thinking over hard work.
- Work-life balance. We all value local working hours and respect time away from work.
- We celebrate the wins. And often.
- Teamwork. Collaboration fuels our success. We all win together.
- Innovation. We seek new ways to solve problems.
- Delight. Usability is good, but delight is better. We aim to surprise and exceed expectations.
- Communication. Above all else, clear communication keeps us aligned.
Who We're Seeking
We're growing our team and are seeking a talented product designer at the top of their game to join us on our mission. If you love to solve complex problems, love the web and technology (especially new tech), and want to be part of our success, this could be you!
If you see yourself being part of a growing team committed to innovating new features dreaming about the future of recipes and menu management for professional chefs, we’d love to hear from you!
