Product Engineer

Responsible about project, process & product that’s related to Pattern/Sew drawing.
In charge about pattern/ sew drawing for improvement activities and process/project/product developments.
Leading and complete all projects from the time of testing to the application into production.
• Make pattern/ sew drawing.
• Working with production to run a sample Test.
• Re- nest kit patterns for optimal utilization.
• Study and analysis costing for the project.
• Working with purchasing/PIC/production to have 1st for new project. (Material, capacity/ process/SOP....)
• Working with US Engineering R&D department on new project to get approval.
• Working with BOM/ROUTING to have data for analysis costing.
• Following all issue about pattern/sew drawing after applying new project into production.
Take care process / SOP and update.
Assist in creating test patterns and all related tasks.
Facilitate Department Head to raise the skills sets of employees. Support Production Department to optimize thru- put and sustain improvement activities.
Analyze the process from R&D to mass pro, establish SOP’s and flowcharts for procedural improvements or change processes in support of new product development or company/department’s objectives.
Complete other assignments and special projects as requested by the Supervisor and Department Head.
Work with US/ China facility & Manager to receive inline product engineering change, improvement or issue solving for inline items & deploy the change to production.
Work with all internal / external team to apply pattern/ sew drawing for new project.
Process continuous improvement for C&S improvement & cost saving.
Control any changing about pattern/ sew drawing of C&S.
Solve all issues relate to TPO.
Communicate with US on pattern issues.
Training and develop lower level engineer/new comer to meet requirements.
Communicate with Leuctra center on Leuctra system problems.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Assist in cost reduction project.
Responsible for all projects patterns to be re- nested and patterns to be plotted for production.
Work with Engineering R&D department on new project development.

Education
Required – Graduate of university with industrial engineering or technical field.
Experience
Cell manufacturing, Pull manufacturing, One Piece Flow, Flexible processes, experience in managing multiple kaizen projects
Expert user of Excel and statistical analysis software
More than 2 years of experience in product, Furniture experience preferred.
Knowledge of:
