We are looking for a Product & Engineering Director to lead our product and engineering team. This is a critical role in our company, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and launching successful products.
Our product Vietnamworks is the leading online employment marketplace in Vietnam, connecting over 5 million job seekers with over 150K employers. We are passionate about helping people find their dream jobs and helping businesses find the best talent. We need to evolve this product to be more innovative. We are looking for a Product & Engineer Director for this purpose.
Product Development and Versioning (80% of the time)
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as Sales and Marketing.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance.
- Define product requirements in collaboration with Product Owners.
- Lead the product development team, including Tech Engineers, Data Scientists, Designers, and Quality Assurance Engineers.
- Manage the performance and development of team members.
- Prioritize development efforts.
- Develop and implement new features.
- Development of New Products Using AI and ML Technologies
IT Infrastructure Management
- Responsible for setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers/virtual environment for system/BU&039;s applications per project agreement.
- Manage constructive and professional IT messages to departments & company. Coordinate and support BU&039;s with their projects and targets.
- Work with IT Infrastructure and CRM Managers to build and maintain IT environments.
Team Development, Hiring, and Evaluation
- Manage the Tech Engineering, Data Science, Design, Quality Assurance, IT Infrastructure, and CRM teams.
- Hire passionate people with great attitudes and a desire to learn and achieve
- Ensure opportunities for continuous learning and development of the team.
- Maintain high performance standards, manage underperforming team members out of the company when necessary.
- Create and lead an unstoppable high performance, cohesive, motivated Technology Team.
- Manage standards for performance and accountability of your team&039;s deliverables through performance reviews, and vendors (if any) through service level agreements.
