Product Engineering Staff (CNC Program) (work in shifts)

Create the CNC programs for Low Melt Fiber, Foam and PU components.
Create rework CNC programs to fix problems for production.
Complete other assignments and special projects as requested by Department Manager.
Create the CNC programs for UPH frames for New Go item, R/D cost estimating.
Collaborate with production to evaluate set- ups, program cycles, operator movements, wasted motion, along with machine and process improvements. Solve problems related to operator error, machine error, maintenance problems, yield problems, etc. and generate ideas that help with factory flow, throughput, ergonomics, material cost saving, machine cost savings, etc.
Complete Engineering Change Orders (ECO) in a timely manner.
Collaborate with R&D 3D Design, Cover fit team to make samples for new development.

Education

Required – Graduated of high school is at least.

Experience

Experience in woodworking or furniture manufacturing is preferred
Minimum of 2 year working on a CNC controlled machine desired and a good knowledge of how a CNC program works

Knowledge of:

Solids Modeling software, CAM software
Record Management
Cam software, Sigma nest, G- code, Fanuc controllers, part nesting, and operation of CNC equipment
Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools
Documents Management Systems
