MiTek Vietnam, previously Platinum Global, established in 2007. With over 2,700 engineers and other professional staff in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam serving customers in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering design, Estimating, Marketing, and other Services for the construction industry globally.
As a Product Manager, you’ll be:
· Support the team to troubleshoot issues.
· Work primarily on MiTek Structure which models and designs prefabricated solutions so MiTek customers can manufacture efficiently.
· Assist with product and team backlog maintenance.
· Learn continuously about the industry, the product and product development, applying that learning to improve self and team.
· Up to two days a week: work a few hours in the evening to co- ordinate with US and UK team members via online meetings.
· Contribute to product discovery efforts with customers and other stakeholders.
· Willingly support the other projects if needed.
· Capture customer needs via user stories & system requirements.
· Represent the voice of the customer and stakeholders when answering questions from the Dev and QA team.
· The candidate can work on one of Structure Project
· Follow MiTek best practices in agile software development.
· Collaborate with Dev teams (Vietnam, US, Europe, APAC) to deliver timely and cost- effective solutions.
· Log and report bugs.
Your skills and experience
Tech skills and experience:
· Ability to plan and organize
· Proficiency in English
· 3+ years’ experience in product ownership, technical business analysis, project management or software production
· Experience with Agile methods and tools
· Strong desire to build a high- quality product
· Experience in using and evaluating software products
Soft skills:
· Knowledge of Machinery file formats, Component Manufacturing, or related software is a plus
· Experience in a previous software product role is a plus
· Good problem- solving, collaboration, and communication skills
· Ability to work in a team
· Determined and curious
· Experience in working with teams to build software products is a plus
· Knowledge of Home Building industry, processes, or software a plus
