OVERVIEW
As a Product Marketing Specialist at BSS Group, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our Shopify apps and driving conversion for the eComStart website. This B2B- focused position requires a dynamic individual to spearhead marketing efforts in the English markets, ensuring top- notch content and tactics to attract and convert our target audience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
For both projects, the Product Marketing Specialist will work with the project owner to craft monthly and quarterly action plans to achieve the KPIs. You will compile detailed reports and assess campaign performance against established KPIs.
The Product Marketing Specialist will allocate their time across two primary projects, with approximately 80% of their efforts dedicated to promoting the Shopify apps and 20% focused on driving conversion for the eComstart website.
Shopify apps promotion (80%)
BSS Group is expanding its horizons by launching innovative Shopify apps to optimize the digital marketing activities of Shopify merchants. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and research to content creation, automation, and performance analysis of our product:
Market research: Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to understand market requirements. Conduct research using automated data or in- depth interviews to stay attuned to market dynamics.
Content production: Directly produce and support the creation of content related to our apps across various formats (blogs, micro- copy, videos, emails). Publish this content on platforms such as in- app, website, and YouTube.
Develop and execute go- to- market strategy: Formulate and implement a comprehensive go- to- market plan to enhance the marketing efficiency of our eCommerce solution, both in the short and medium terms.
Shopify App listing: Work with the product manager to list our app on the Shopify App Store; Plan app names, keywords, and quality content designed to convert users; Execute targeted advertising campaigns to optimize visuals for increased app installations; Constantly analyze and refine keywords to enhance app visibility.
Marketing automation: Create seamless customer experience flows, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.
Explore user acquisition channels: Extend BSS reach beyond Shopify App Store via alternative channels such as SERP or affiliates.
Continuous data analysis and reporting: Use marketing analytics tools to report on performance and adjust your marketing plans based on insights.
eComStart Website Conversion (20%)
eComStart is an online blog dedicated to empowering individuals and businesses in the eCommerce landscape. Our goal over the next six months is to strategically lead traffic, secure Shopify referrals, and earn commissions. Additionally, you will contribute to the long- term vision by generating leads for website development services and omnichannel retail solutions.
The Product Marketing Specialist will drive traffic to our platform via digital marketing campaigns, focusing on affiliate link sign- ups for Shopify.
