Product System Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. In charge BOM & Routing’s system for improvement activities and process/project/product developments.

2. Complete all project to set up and control BOM & Routing in system for CG.

· BOM’s usage

· BOM’s structure

· Reviewing scrap rate

· Cost reduction on material

· Materials replacement project.

· BOM thru-put.

· Routing operation process set up

· Run machine/ Run labor set up

· Maintain CARB, High jump

3. Study and analysis for process/changing material, labor for the projects.

4. Analyze the process from R&D to mass pro, establish SOP’s and flowcharts for procedural improvements or change processes in support of new product development or company/department’s objectives.

5. Work with Purchasing/PIC/Prodution about replacing material & operation, work center in BOM & routing

6. Work with production/Cycle count to control material variance.

7. Work with all internal / external team to apply BOM & routing for new project.

8. In charge of work-shop tour as weekly to get ideas.

9. Take care & update system for any changing process, operation & run machine

10. Facilitate Department Head to raise the skills sets of employees. Support Production Department to optimize thru-put and sustain improvement activities.

11. Work with product engineer team & manager to receive inline product engineering change, improvement or issue solving for inline items & deploy the change to production.

12. Work with production to solve engineering/ quality issue.

13. Process continuous improvement for product improvement & cost saving.

14. Complete other assignments and special projects as requested by supervisor/ Department Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1.       Education

   Required –Graduate of university with industrial engineering or technical field.

2.       Experience

  More than 3 years of experience in relevant role for large labor intensive manufacturing company (headcount >1,000)

  Expert user of Excel and statistical analysis software

  Good knowledge with ERP system and understand solidworks drawings

3.       Knowledge of:

• Lean thinking, lean manufacturing
• Theory of constraints
• Statistical process control
• Project management
• Budgeting and cost control
• Change management

4.       Skills and Abilities

  Strong leadership, management, communication skills are compulsory.
