Production Engineer

Job Summary:

Coordinate with PRD/ QA/ global engineering teams, vendors in equipment-related topics to ensure the development of equipment in production and technical knowledge
Be responsible for good equipment condition & smooth equipment operation

Responsibilities:

Prepare reports, machine documentation and provide full training to technician team
Conduct proper plan and action of preventive maintenance
Support management in planning & implementing layout/ production technology & strategy
Design and conduct tests
Record, analyse and interpret test data
Prepare product documentation, write reports and give presentations
Propose modifications and retest products
Ensure machine, tool & fixture improvement through Kaizen activities
Research suitable solutions and estimate costs and timescale
Ensure new machines & fixture set-up, buyoff & hand-over successfully
Attend meetings on site
Conduct proper reactive maintenance; lead troubleshooting in cooperation with other teams
Read design specifications and technical drawings

Requirements:

Proficient computer skills with basic Solid work/autoCAD background; good English skills
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
Advanced troubleshooting skills; Kaizen mindset with proven records of improvement
Proven experience (3 years or above) as the same position in manufacturing environment
Good communication and training skills; passion in mechinary; a good team player
Knowledge of lean manufacturing/ TPM is an advantage
