Production Improvement Specialist (Thu Duc District)

Position Overview: Drive end- to- end project execution (NPD/Transfers) and continuous production optimization for TTI Milwaukee (Power tools), ensuring seamless scale- up from sample build to MP while maximizing efficiency, cost savings, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership

Coordinate cross- functional teams (PSE, AME, AQE, OPM, IE) to resolve design- for- manufacturing issues.
Lead NPD/Transfer Projects: Plan, execute, and hand over new product launches or factory transfers, meeting timeline/cost targets.

Process & Cost Optimization

Analyze production processes (time studies, line balancing) to identify waste and implement Kaizen/LEAN solutions (5S, PDCA, etc…)
Reduce costs during sample build phases (ESB/EB/QB) and ensure smooth MP ramp- up (e.g., material substitutions, equipment upgrades).

Process Analysis and Improvement:

Implement process optimizations, equipment upgrades, and Kaizen initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
Collaborate with Process ENG, Equipment ENG, QA, PSE, IE, and other support functions to execute improvement projects.
Conduct direct observation and analysis of daily production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Quality Improvement:

Solve critical production issues using 5 Why/ 8D, ensuring RC correction.
Enforce quality standards (pFMEA, SOP) and EHS compliance in all projects.

Project Execution and Collaboration:

Ensure that all improvement initiatives comply with quality systems (pFMEA, WI, Check Cards, Layouts).
Work closely with cross- functional teams (NPD Engineering, AME, AQE, OPM, PM, IE) to ensure the successful implementation of improvement projects.

Technical Execution

Partner with Equipment ENG to implement automation/ergonomic improvements.
Review technical drawings, BOMs, and layouts to optimize manufacturability.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that all improvement initiatives adhere to safety standards (EHS) and company regulations (ISO, 5S).

Documentation and Reporting:

Document all improvement initiatives, including process changes, cost savings, and quality improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience in production process improvement with a focus on cost reduction and quality enhancement.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5 Why, 8D, FMEA, and process optimization techniques.
Expect 2- 3 years of experience in Project Management.
Familiarity with EHS, ISO, and 5S standards.
Excellent analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
Strong problem- solving and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross- functional teams and drive project execution.
