Production Planner

• Recommends changes to management operations and material control manuals.
• Ensure production goals are met in a timely and accurate manner.
• Improves a company&039;s production and distribution processes. Ensures the production and distribution of products run smoothly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Liaises with sales division to determine customer requirements
• Predicts the material impacted for sale orders.
• Create, manage and support recognition and communication that fosters an environment of teamwork for associates and peers.
• Prepares reports and presentations as needed to share with management and other departments.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects
• Plans and schedules workflow and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Monitors the highest priority of RTM, RPM, ERF rapid order from customers.
• Develop, revise, and maintain production schedules to ensure timely shipments of all products as specified in the Master Schedule related to specified product line(s).
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
• Liaises with Purchasing to supply sufficient material for customer demands.
• Create and maintain all manufacturing work orders related to specified product line(s)
• Creates written procedures and ensures compliance as related to all production planning activities.

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Working knowledge of ERP software.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Proficient in PC computer skills
• Fluent English
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
