Summary:
As a Production SHE coordinator, the focus will be on delivering support to operations on a day- to- day basis covering all aspects of Safety, Health, and Environment, spending most of their time on the operations floor.
This position will be the liaison between operators and supervisors to ensure rules and regulations are followed specifically to the requirements of SHE Department and those of company standards.
Main Responsibilities:
Translate and implement new programs, policies, and procedures following SHE Department.
Act as the first point of contact for safety related observations / concerns.
Initiating and/or participating in the ESG (Environment Social Governance) Program.
Develop / deploy risk assessments and hazard identification.
Supports Production Management with regular performance measurement reviews and reporting.
Develop / implement / report safety metrics associated with the site.
Collaborates and supports training needs for external sources, acting as coordinator of such events.
Attending concerned training courses of QMS–ISO 9001, EMS- ISO 14001, OH&SMS- ISO45001 where required.
Learn and maintain an awareness of regulatory standards and good industry practices.
Acts as point person for all seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures.
Assist in preparation and reporting of SHE Key Performance Indicators.
Develop / foster collaborative team environment focused on improving safe behaviors.
Manage employee PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) programs.
Monitor processes for adherence to SHE guidelines and the mitigation of incidents.
Prepare, plan and implement SHE routine safety inspections and follow up corrective action in regular labor safety committee’s meetings with Production Management and SHE Department.
Implement safety working improvement program to increase employee satisfaction.
Perform regular safety walks of the operations floor.
Develop new training content that supports ongoing SHE initiatives and continuous improvement in Production.
Employee is responsible in proactively receive, search, learn and comply with prevailing law and company regulation which are communicated via internal information channels including broadcasting, email, SBS (Sonion Business System), notice board and electronic notice in every area. This content includes but not limited to: ISO on Quality Management, Environment Occupation Health & Safety, Code of conduct and Corporate Social Responsibility, Labor safety and Fire Prevention and Fighting, Work Rule and Employee Handbook and other internal regulations.
Collaborates with management and employees to identify company training needs.
Prepares hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations.
Collaborates with L & D colleagues across Production to help identify opportunities for improvement within the training system.
