Objectives:
- A Production Shift Supervisor will oversee the production & whole factory operations and all workers during scheduled shifts, critically ensuring Health and Safety protocol, production procedures, minimizing potential risks in the production process, ensuring all aspects of the working shift run smoothly, effectively & following requirements & plans.
- The production shift supervisor is responsible to the production manager for all shift- work- related activities and results.
- Production shift supervisors are required to be available at the production shift&039;s workplace on frequent intervals to supervise the performance of subordinate workers, urge, remind, and handle strongly with any employee who fails to complete a task or doesn&039;t follow by factory rules.
Responsilities:
Productivity: Ensuring the completion of production shifts scheduled, achieving KPIs, productivity, yield loss, HSE& 5S, and OEE.
- Arrange up daily shifts for the production workers, and arrange the blending materials, packaging materials, and support tools for the next shift.
- Verify and confirm all check sheets for collecting process control data (SPC), ensure the accuracy of data information on SAP, track loss, input, and output of goods during the shift. Enter all relevant information in the system management file. Handover of shifts as required.
Quality control:
Ensuring the quality of products during the production shift before delivery to the finished goods warehouse:
- Production in compliance with the 5S requirements and an environment that is friendly.
- The finished goods, which include the product&039;s appears and packaging, meet product standards.
- Control the blending process by using the correct formula, achieving a passing lab result.
Personnel management: Ensuring that workers fulfil their tasks and are committed to company policies.
- Arrange and utilize human resources in a fair, reasonable, and effective method to complete the task.
- Rotate training to ensure that one worker has the ability of doing a multitude of tasks on the production line or in different areas.
- Arrange regular and emergency meetings at the start or end of shifts to solve shift issues. During the shift, gather ideas from the workers and provide them to superiors for discussion and resolution.
- Follow all rules and regulations regulating the production area and the company strictly.
- Workers follow job instructions, workplace safety, hygiene requirements, and firefighting systems.
Managing Machinery and Equipment:
Ensure sure that machinery and equipment can be useful for manufacturing activity, using materials correctly and efficiently
- Proper management of allotted supplies, spare parts, and working tools is required. These items must never be damaged without an understanding of the cause.
- Collaborate together with the EN department to monitor and inspect regularly scheduled and preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Work with line operators to perform autonomous maintenance on the EN department&039;s selected types of machinery and equipment.
- Electricity and material consumption that is economical.
Worker assessment: Evaluate and summarize employee performance.
- Each shift&039;s job results should be organized and evaluated, since this will provide a basis to determine the performance bonus at the end of the month.
- Employees that don&039;t finish their tasks on time (productivity & quality) or don&039;t follow company & factory rules should be reminded and disciplined. Deal with every failure severely up to the end.
- Execute training effectively and use the check sheet to evaluate workers&039; training outcomes during the shift.
