Production Shift Supervisor

To deliver the shift/line objectives by empowering and engage people to develop their capability and ways of working through NCE implementation. Ensure line (shift) production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental needs (strive towards Manufacturing Excellence).- Ensure the identified development plan and assure the competencies of his/her team (incl. Temporary people) as per the agreed plan with Production Manager (proper training inc. equipment, safety procedures, hygiene).
- Checks and correctly reports the production outputs, work in processes and materials usage by daily basis. Takes appropriate actions if needed.
- Coach employees to fulfill and exceed the requirements of the job through NCE approach.
- Controls the cost of production by managing and controlling the materials usage (Yield and Losses), manpower, machine utilization, M&R activities and etc.
- Strongly involves in continuous improvement and problem solving activities.
- Optimize the operations, processes and equipment to achieve the best line efficiency and performance, minimize the manufacturing losses. Involve in the design of the lay- out and equipment when necessary.
- Ensure the timely deployment of People development plan and assure the competencies of his/her team as per the agreed plan with PM (proper training inc. equipment, safety procedures, hygiene). Enforce strict compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all personnel within the shift.
- Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line)./p
- Analyses and addresses the equipment breakdown or machines stoppages. Co- ordinates with the the Engineering team to solve the problems.
- Provides appropriate solutions, actions or corrective actions when deviation found in operations.
- Supports other departments (AG, QA, Engineer and etc.) for production related activities such as safety audit, manufacturing trials for new product development, quality audit, energy saving projects, investigate the root cause of consumer complaints and etc,
- Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines (SDCA) to ensure sustainable results. Use of Basic Problem Solving tools and knowledge sharing (OPLs) to drive continuous improvements.

- More than 02 years of experience at the same position in manufacturing companies
- Willing to work in shift (08 hours/day, 6 days/week)
- Good at English communication
- Demonstration of leadership skills in positively confronting inappropriate behavior and using everyday coaching to ensure involvement of the workforce
- Advanced understanding of skills knowledge and behavioral requirements of positions under their responsibility (e.g. functional, hygiene, safety, technical, etc.)/p
- Computer knowledge: MS. Word, MS. Excel, MS. Power Point, etc
- University Degree with major in technical background, food processing;
