Production Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor for Nefab Bac Ninh factory will be in responsible of Meeting customer delivery, Achieving Daily Production targets, Operator Allotment, Maximize Material utilization and Meet all Production KPI targets. In addition, this position will take full accountability of ensuring all Production area are maintained and safety procedures and policies are enforced, to ensure zero accidents and/or injuries and to follow all company regulations. This position will report to Production Manager of Nefab Vietnam.
2.1.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Activities
•To control production activity base on delivery plan with high efficiency.
•To improve production process and production cost control.
•To ensure effective manpower/ Machine/ Equipment work with safety implement.
•To Control both soft files and hard copy documents to be updated throughout and systematically.
•To support Company activity.
•Create work instruction of each activity/process/products
•Analysis root cause and solve daily problem in production activity
•Able to control the operation all of Production machines and adjust the parameters to achieve the required quality
•Responsible for material utilization as per company targets
•Report all activity of production section to production manager
•Training basic knowledge of production to new operators (OJT)
•Control production manpower, follow company regulation and Nefab code of conduct
Lean Initiatives/Continuous Improvement
•Map current flow and continuously evaluate and implement flow improvements with the Production Manager at the factory.
•Develop initiatives that will maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
•Develop and implement 5S across production area
•Generate and maintain a reporting system to track successes and improvements needed in this area
•Drives continuous improvement efforts, including but not limited to Kaizen events, 6-S events, 5s, Cost Reduction ideas.etc.
Facility Management
•Maintain and improve the factory facility
•Keep 5S at all the time
•Develop relationships to improve performance with operators
•Build positive working relationships within the Operator team
Work Environment
•Office working conditions are normal for an office environment.
•Plant working conditions include noise plus/minus 85 dB and some dust. Personal Protection Equipment is provided.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production Activities:
•Provide overall direction of the raw materials/storage, production operation and people management, and planning activities.
•Set up and implementation of standard operating procedures
•Monitor production cost and overheads, and adjusting process and resources to minimize cost
•Evaluate and adjust available production capacity and planned requirements to meet changing demands
•Responsible for site efficient operations and continual improvement of supply chain operation to meet cost and service requirement.
•Ensure product quality standards are developed and met
•Resolve problems on site as they arise, reducing the impact of unforeseen difficulties
•Support and drive implementation of Quality and Environment Management Systems (ISO9001 and ISO14001).
- Customer & Supplier Communication (Internal & External):
•Working with Contract Manufacturer with understand and comply with end customer requirement which includes of quality, quantity, delivery schedule, etc.
•Work closely with sales team to maintain close relationship with customers and explore opportunities outside existing customer database
•Drive overall cost savings target which set by Managing Director.

•Maintain and improve the factory facility
•Keep 5S at all the time
•Improve and develop organization capabilities through effective performance management and planning/utilization of human capital resources
•Develop relationships to improve performance with employees
•Build positive working relationships within the global organization and serve as point of contact for broader corporate initiatives.
