Production Supervisor (steel structure fabrication)

Cross- functional management of QA and materials for the team.
Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
Accompanies QHSE auditors. Recommends and implements action plans to correct deviations noted during audits.
Establish and support a working environment of continuous improvement that supports the company’s QHSE policy, QHSE system & the appropriate regulations for the area, and follow the QHSE policy.
Helps develop, update and maintain procedures and documentation for all QHSE systems.
Monitors usage of utilities to ensure efficiency of operations.
Maintaining working condition (safety and hygiene) at the factory.
Administration duties, which include the time and attendance system and job appraisal for all production employees
Conducts training of new or existing employees.
Build QHSE into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
Implements production and makes adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications.
Schedules and/orperforms calibrations for plant measuring instruments.
Fills in process sheets containing instructions for all production staff and workers.
Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
Ensure that production is cost- effective, timely and of good quality.
Monitors quality of incoming raw materials and finished products.

Able to work overtime and under pressure, with good written and communication skills.
Problem- solving and negotiation skills
Willing to take up challenges, mature and independent character.
Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with various support groups.
5 years experience in a supervisory position in steel structure manufacturing environment
Previous experience in people management and demonstrated ability in people motivation, organizing, and team building is required.
Can communicate in English (intermediate)
Strong Leadership skill
