Production Supervisor (Steel Structure Fabrication)

Implements production and makes adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications.Ensure that production is cost- effective, timely and of good quality.Fills in process sheets containing instructions for all production staff and workers.Maintaining working condition (safety and hygiene) at the factory.Monitors quality of incoming raw materials and finished products.Cross- functional management of QA and materials for the team.Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.Conducts training of new or existing employees.Monitors usage of utilities to ensure efficiency of operations.Build QHSE into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.Helps develop, update and maintain procedures and documentation for all QHSE systems.Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.Accompanies QHSE auditors. Recommends and implements action plans to correct deviations noted during audits.Establish and support a working environment of continuous improvement that supports the company’s QHSE policy, QHSE system & the appropriate regulations for the area, and follow the QHSE policy.Schedules and/orperforms calibrations for plant measuring instruments.Administration duties, which include the time and attendance system and job appraisal for all production employees

Previous experience in people management and demonstrated ability in people motivation, organizing, and team building is required.
Willing to take up challenges, mature and independent character.
5 years experience in a supervisory positionin steel structure manufacturing environment
Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent)
Strong Leadership skill
Can communicate in English (intermediate)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with various support groups.
Able to work overtime and under pressure, with good written and communication skills.
Problem- solving and negotiation skills
