The Program Director will oversee all aspects of program design, delivery, staffing, partnerships, and monitoring. They will be responsible for building and managing a lean but high- performing team, working closely with schools, partners, and funders. The role reports to the Board of Advisors and will play a critical role in shaping GTH&039;s long- term impact.
Green Turtle Hero is a Vietnamese social enterprise focused on youth- driven environmental education. Through storytelling, mascots, school visits, and community events, GTH encourages children to adopt anti- littering behaviors and protect their environment. We are in a growth phase and seeking a dynamic leader to build and manage our operations, partnerships, and team.
The Program Director is the most senior operational leader within Green Turtle Hero and is responsible for the successful execution, scaling, and sustainability of the campaign. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, mission- driven individual with strong leadership, management, and fundraising abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Position Summary
Execute Year One Plans
• Ensure the timely delivery of school programs, including scheduling, logistics, and feedback loops.
• Design and oversee the rollout of educational events, mascot activities, and community workshops.
• Target “District 8” for school events, social media and piloting program
• Work with researchers to measure impact and identify campaign’s key success factors.

Strategy Development and Growth
• Lead operational planning, timelines, and program delivery across schools and communities.
• Represent GTH at key meetings, events, and with media or government stakeholders.
• Translate GTH’s mission into clear annual objectives, programs, and impact targets.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion within HCMC and other regions.
Partnership Development & Fundraising
• Lead the development of grant proposals, sponsorship pitches, and donor reports.
• Represent GTH in external stakeholder meetings and fundraising events.
• Cultivate relationships with schools, local government, NGOs, universities, and CSR partners.
Staff Recruitment and Team Building
• Provide regular coaching and professional development.
• Direct and support staff, volunteers, and interns to deliver high- quality programming.
• Build a positive, purpose- driven team culture with strong accountability.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard early team members (bare- bones to early- scaling team).
Communications & Brand Oversight
• Support content creation by providing stories, data, and highlights from program activities.
• Oversee messaging, public communications, and social media strategy (in collaboration with media staff or freelancers).
• Ensure alignment with GTH branding and values in all public- facing content.
Finance & Administration
• Ensure efficient and compliant use of resources.
• Develop and manage program budgets and basic financial oversight.
• Work with accounting service to support procurement, payroll, and reporting.
