Project Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

- To support the design are included to develop from concept stage to construction detail for new construction and renovation projects.

- An excellent CSA Engineer must be well-versed in all construction design.

- Participate in the material selection process.

- Prepare all the drawings for presentation of each design stage.

- To support the quantity survey and take off bill of quantities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- To perform of architectural & structural design is from concept stage up to construction design for new construction and expansion projects.

- Perform audit checks/quality checks through site walk at construction site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specification and contract.

- To support the quantities survey / take off the bill of quantity.

- Site coordination, site inspection.

- Coordinate delivery, and construction times.

- Supervise contractors or vendors.

- To review all the CAS design, shop drawing submit by contractor.

- To be updated the as build drawings after completing the project.

- Collaborate with C&F manager, QA/QC and ME engineers etc. to determine the specifications of the project

- Propose needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

- Follow up, monitor all CAS construction operations and intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met

- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies

- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed

- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

-       Bachelor’s degree in architecture and civil from a recognized university.

-       Between 5-7 year’s relevant working experience preferably in factory & office project.

-       Proficiency at Auto Cad, good knowledge of MS Office, MS project.

-       Proven experience for architectural & structural design.

-       Good understanding of building design, detailing, building codes, Vietnamese authority submission procedures and the project implementation process is essential

-       Ability to work under high pressure.

-       Ability to work independently but contact other teams for information.

-       Technical English (must be an advantage).

-       Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards

-       Excellent organizational and time-management skills

-       A team player with leadership abilities

-       Design or equivalent certification will be an advantage

-       Able to go business trips
