PROJECT ESTIMATOR

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Estimator to join our dynamic company based in Australia. As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to our clients and assisting in various project and administrative tasks. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external clients will be essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Take- off:
Review tender documents from Builders to make sure all required information for quotation has been provided.
Prepare Bill of quantity for the Project at the highest accuracy for Vietnamese Suppliers to quote accordingly.

· Pricing and Options for Project:
· Apply internal pricing and discuss with Project Manager on final submission price
· After Contract:
· Shop- drawing: review quantity with Project Manager to make sure all are included, including client changes, pressure changes, etc,
· Data management:
· Assist other administrative tasks assigned by supervisor.
· Maintain and update accurate data information of vendors and clients on systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Skills and Knowledge:
Estimation for joinery projects
Knowledge in joinery materials, hardware, accessories, Australia interior concepts & trend.
Budgeting for joinery projects
Joinery and construction: updated knowledge in construction industry in general and in joinery section;

· Administration:
Project paperwork administration
International and local logistics
· Linguistics:
Excellent in writing and speaking in both English and Vietnamese
· Computer Skills:
MS Office, especially Excel
Planswift
· Others:
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Problem- Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyse information, and propose effective solutions.
Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively in a team- oriented environment and building positive working relationships.
Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing processes and business needs.
Self- training
Working hours: Official working hours for this position are based on Melbourne Time (MEL) (6h00 – 14h00 Vietnam time). Flexibility to accommodate the MEL time zone is essential.
