Mô tả công việc


The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects, including new projects in transition and post-live projects under operations, according to strict deadlines, within budget, and service level agreement. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of various team members, relevant business stakeholders and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects and services according to plan and standards. In addition, he or she also works within the agile process and is the final authority for decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the development team. 
Project Delivery (80%):

  • Represent, interface with and engage business users. Define scope, goals, milestones and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management, clients, project sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Makes business decisions and clearly communicates requirements through epics and stories so they are understood. Steers the project to ensure delivery of business value.
  • Participate in project planning, daily stand-up meetings (scrums), reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
  • Creates, maintains, prioritizes, and sequences the product backlog based on business value or ROI.
  • Sign-off user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough for a single sprint.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Ensure project billing is according to client agreements and internal planning.

Service Delivery (20%):

  • Own the operational/maintenance relationships with business/customers and the service delivery topics, within assigned accounts.
  • Conduct service reviews and reporting with clients and partners.
  • Take ownership of client issues and following problems through to resolution, organizing and directing IT support teams for incident analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure that service asset and configuration items are properly controlled, and that accurate and reliable information about these assets is available when needed.

Ensure service billing is according to client agreements and internal planning.


Yêu cầu công việc


*** Education:

  • University Degree in Finance, IT or Business Administration.
  • Formal project management and/or service management qualifications (PMP, Prince-2, CMMI, CSPO, ITIL, etc.) is an advantage, but not required.

*** Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • 3-5 years or more of working experience in IT-related environment. 2 years or more project management experience, service management, agile experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, techniques and procedures.
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Good knowledge of customer service.
  • Understanding of organization’s development platform and languages.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical issues.
