Project Officer
. This role will support our plastics team in current and upcoming projects, ensuring high- quality implementation and positive impact within local communities and the environment.
What you will do:
– Build and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders, including donors, partners, clients, informal waste sectors, community organizations, government officials, corporate executives, and the general public.
– Track and document project progress, maintaining up- to- date records and notes.
– Participate in field data collection to acquire primary research data, including stakeholder interviews and surveys.
– Follow and implement project plans, ensuring deliverables are met in a timely manner.
– Conduct primary and secondary research in both English and Vietnamese, including online research, in- field data collection, stakeholder interviews, surveys, etc.
– Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
– Handle administrative tasks such as translating, maintaining databases, preparing reports, and supporting procurement processes.
– Assist the Project Manager in managing the full project cycle, from initiation to completion.
– Work professionally and coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
– Analyze and interpret data, drafting written reports for review by the Project Manager.
– Work closely with government officials to support document submission and other project- related tasks.
Skills required:
– Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
– Passion for creating a positive impact on the environment and communities.
– At least 1- 2 years of professional experience (experience in environmental projects, supporting underprivileged communities, sustainability, or waste management is preferred).
– Well- organized, ethical, and committed to meeting deadlines and continuous learning.
– Adept in report writing, presenting findings, and handling data queries.
– Strong ability to coordinate and work effectively in a small team.
– Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong problem- solving and communication skills, with an ability to work in a fast- paced environment.
