Position Summary
A Public Area Supervisor for The Grand Ho Tram Strip property is responsible for assisting in creating an uncompromised level of cleanliness throughout the property. This position will support the Housekeeping staff in operational standards to exceed the guest’s expectations and provide service that sets the example for the luxury market. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices and procedures, as well as within the framework and intent of the Vision of The Grand Ho Tram Strip property.
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate inventory records on cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
Aid in maintaining unparalleled cleaning and preventative maintenance programs to enhance appearance and life of all furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Administer inspection of the facility, services and equipment in the responsible areas to make sure they are uncompromised.
Help with the cleaning program to ensure top quality standards in training, performance, procedures, and productivity pertaining to all public and private guest areas.
Ensure that areas of responsibility are running efficient and effective at all times. Proper utilization of resources is a must.
Ensures all activities performed within the departments are in accordance with the company’s business objectives, and established safety and security standards.
Inspects public areas to ensure the highest cleaning standards are met.
Keeps leadership informed on a timely basis of any undue variance from expected results.
Maintains close work relationships with other departments and their leaders to promote feedback, cross training and efficient operations.
Communicates with partnering departments and peers to achieve superior customer satisfaction and efficient utilization of manpower and facilities.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
Oversee storage areas and ensure they are always stocked, clean and tidy.
Promotes a positive work environment that stimulates and motivates employees to acceptable levels of turnover, absenteeism, and promotions.
Helps train, motivate, and provide regular communication to the team to deliver top service with unmatched professionalism while fostering a culture of accountability.
Assist in controlling departmental costs including labor regarding cleaning supplies, yet ensuring services rendered to the guests are of the highest standards.
