Purchasing Agent (CNC Machining Factory )

Purchasing Agent – Must have experience with international suppliers for buying machinery, tools, equipment, supplies, parts, or services needed for running a CNC Machining factory. Raw or semi- finished materials are purchased for the purpose of manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Research potential vendors
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Review quality of purchased products

Requirements and skills:
Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role
Negotiation skills
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
Understanding of supply chain procedures
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
English OR Chinese speaking required
