Purchasing Executive

The job holder is responsible for the purchase of service, indirect material including but not limit to machinery, equipment through the development and implementation of appropriate sourcing strategies. Other areas including stakeholder engagement & supplier management.
· Make supplier performance periodically and address/escalate supplier non-performance as appropriate.
· Analyze market intelligence, predict the market trend and negotiate with local as well as oversea suppliers to purchase the qualified goods with the most competitive price and qualified service.
· Look for new sources of supply for new materials in business development projects.
· Establish and maintain high standards of relationships with suppliers for the most cost-effectiveness and favorable services.
· Manage and maintain contracts for the assigned spends/categories.
· Look for the alternative sources of supply for the current materials based on the valid specification either for better price and service or for back up.
· Take lead in category management of the assigned categories.
· Fulfill the monthly Procurement reports as defined.
· Responsible for managing Purchase Requests from the business.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage Source To Pay process (supplier screening, RFQ process, negotiation and supplier selection) for the assigned spends/categories.

· Technical knowledge, strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Honest and integrity
· 3-5 years of experience in purchasing especially MRO, preferable in a multinational organization
· University graduation from Foreign Trade/ Economics/ Technology or equivalent
· Good negotiation, effective communication and influencing skills
. Able to work independently and under high pressure
· Fluent English and good computer skills
. Familiar with SAP is preferred
